Hit me with your best shot...Madden NFL '12 style!!!

Recently, BzzAgent.com began what they're calling, "Daily BzzCampaigns" in which BzzAgents (ie: yours truly) are given the opportunity to get invited into super cool campaigns each day. This new idea began with the launching of Kindles. Did you get that? KINDLES! I'm not talking about some cheapy electronic device you'd find 10 for a $1 at a flea market but the real Amazon Kindle! You can only imagine the kind of excitement this announcement generated among the BzzAgent community and needless to say, I was not one of the chosen few who were selected to take part in this amazing campaign. I cried, I wept and I stomped my feet like Veruca Salt. But I licked my wounds and the sun *did* shine again. Life is still good...because my heart beats for all things football and lo and behold, the Daily BzzCampaign is for the NEWEST MADDEN NFL '12 VIDEO GAME!!!!!! Boo-Yaa!!! Now, the average girly girl would balk at the very idea of watching someone toss around the 'ole pig skin on the big screen but not THIS girly girl. I live for football...the sights, the sounds, the smells...yes, the smells. You know what I mean...there's nothing that smells quite like football as much as beer and nachos at the stadium. Unfortunately, that's one thing the video game can't provide (note to self: make nachos and stock up on beer to create my stadium away from home...err, away from stadium...hehehe). This video game would make me a very happy girl. I love the running, rushing, punting, returning, tackling, intercepting and of course, the scoring of football! And another plus of the game? I can see Aaron Rodgers as.much.as.I.want. Sorry dearest hubby. ;)

Mmm...NUTELLA!

A few weeks ago, I was selected to host a Nutella party and I couldn't have been happier. Have you ever heard of Nutella? If not, you should drive straight to your nearest grocery store and peruse the aisles until you find it. It's most commonly found near the many jars of peanut butter but do not mistake this awesome yumminess for the average peanut butter because it most definitely is NOT! In fact, Nutella doesn't contain any peanuts or peanut ingredients nor is it come in contact with peanuts during manufacturing. Nutella is made with hazelnuts...SUPER TASTY HAZELNUTS!!!

On March 19th, my guests gathered at my home to sample the Nutella hazelnut spread. Do you want to hear an interesting note? All of my guests had heard of Nutella but had never tried it! I was shocked! As each of them learned about Nutella and then were given the opportunity to sample it, they were all pleasantly surprised at its unbelieveable taste! After learning how good it was, they all said they would be more than happy to purchase it during their next grocery trip.

At the end of the party, each guest received a goodie bag filled with a
Nutella sample, coupons, a travel mug, spreader and various print materials. Everyone had a great time!

**I was provided with the Nutella party kit from MommyParties. In exchange, I agreed to host a party and blog about it.**

Mega Bloks Dragons Universe Party

Recently, I was invited to host a Mega Bloks Dragons Universe party in my home. Upon receiving the acceptance email, I was super excited and so was my son. I didn't really know what to expect but once the package arrived, it contained everything I needed to get our Dragons Universe party planned. There were fun recipes like, "Dragon Scales" (chips & salsa), "Fire Breathing Bagel Melts" (bagels with spaghetti sauce, cheese and pepperoni), "Dragon's Breath Punch" (cherry Kool Aid, pineapple juice, ginger ale and sherbet). The package also included activities and game ideas but the most exciting part was, in fact, the actual products.

Today, I hosted our Mega Bloks Dragons Universe party. The kids were wanted to dive right into the boxes as soon as they saw them. Seeing how anxious they were, I allowed each of them to approach the table everything was displayed upon, and choose one of the toys.

Some of the younger kids had their parents to help them assemble the toy they choose while the older kids started zipped through the assembly and straight to playtime.

After the kids played for a while, I held the drawing for the Deluxe Dual-Blast Dragon Hunter and we had a VERY happy winner.

Everyone enjoyed browsing through the Mega Bloks catalog and paid special attention to the Dragons Universe section of toys. The children loved the toys and had a great time playing with them.

All in all, I would say that our Mega Bloks Dragons Universe Party was a huge success!

I love free stuff!

I'm a sucker for freebies in any way, shape or form. So, on Friday I was contacted by a market research company to ask if I'd be willing to participate in an upcoming study on snack foods. My response? Sure...you bet! Wanna know the best part...they're sending me a Creative Vado Pocket Cam to keep absolutely FREE! And did I mention that upon completion of the study, I'll also receive $150? Woo-Hoo!

Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to checking my mail this week. ;)

Baby Steps

I've been the worst blogger ever. I haven't shared anything in forever and a day. Now I'm determined to get back into the swing of things by contributing to my beloved blog at least once a week. I'm setting the bar low...baby steps. I'll resurrect my blog in baby steps. Unless of course I feel ambitious and then, I might post several times a day. So, please keep your eyes peeled for (hopefully) more posts very, very soon. ;)

Join With Me In Saying It...Refreshing

I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I'm bored. I'm plain.

Yeah, so I've felt that way before but it's passed...easily and quickly. For some reason now, it's staying. I FEEL like being bold and aggressive. I FEEL like telling my boss I want to take a hike. I FEEL like starting over from scratch. But everything I feel like doing isn't anything I'd ever do at all.

What I want to say is let me be. If I only had 30 extra minutes of sleep every morning. Feeling refreshed is so understated. Now I'll make it a personal mission to use that word once each day for the rest of the week.

More tomorrow...I have some sneak peek pics to share!

Ok...so I that (the title of today's post) was part of a cheer back in the day when I was a cheerleader for the Iaeger Intermediate School Eagles! GOSH...that was so long ago! I can't believe I still remember that cheer! It went like this...

Oh neglectful blogger am I...and some NEW stuff...

...sigh...
There's just never enough hours in the day to do all the things I feel I need to do. Maintaining a fun, entertaining and somewhat productive blog is just one of them. So, while I'm finding my rhythm (or at least trying to fit it into my Top 10 list), humor me and continue to check in...deal? :)

In the meantime, I just HAD to share my latest stuff using, of course...the FULL-SIZE OCTOBER KIT FROM 4 SCRAPPY SISTERS! If you didn't get one this month, DON'T FREAK OUT...Lisa, will be having 2 more GORGEOUS kits for November!

Some new pretties...

Ok, so I applied for a DT spot with Serendipity Scrapbooks (as if anyone needed a reminder! LOL!). I'm nervous about the announcement but excited for whomever is chosen regardless of whether or not I'm one of them. I know that everything happens for a reason and if it's not meant to be, then it's just not meant to be...right?...although I'd like it to be meant to be! LOL!!! :) At any rate, I know it's a great place to be a part of and I'm sure I'll continue posting in the forums even if I'm not chosen. There's alot of challenges, awesome techniques, great inspiration, daily chatter and a VERY NICE bunch of ladies...so it's a great place just to hang out and I wish I'd found it sooner!

Anyway, here are my LOs and other projects submitted for the call. :)

I think all the Willows have been tagged already so I can't spread the love back around! That was fun, Gina...thanks for the tag! :)

Ok, on to other news. So I've decided to start applying for another DT spot. It's been a while since I've been in the DT world since I took a break from s'bing (I'll NEVER do that again!) but I'm back and (I think) better than ever so I'm giving it a shot...or two...again! :) Here are the places I either have applied or will be applying:

4 Scrappy Sisters and Serendipity Scrapbooks

Wish me luck as I knows there's some awesome talent out there right now! :)

And speaking of Serendipity Scrapbooks, I'm taking part in a blogging challenge right now and this week I have to write about how I feel about the summer coming to an end soon. I have nothing to hide...I'm ready for school to start again. Jaritt will be in 2nd grade while Jansyn will be starting kindergarten (God bless the teacher that gets her in their classroom!). Jaritt excels in school and Jansyn...well, she just needs the structure. But, I'm drifting away...I'm happy that summer will be ending soon because it means that FALL is right around the corner! I *heart* fall weather! We had a great summer but living in NC, it gets REALLY hot and REALLY humid, so fall is always a welcomed season in my book. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the summer.
